Frances O. Smith, DVM, PhD became a Diplomate of the College of Theriogenology in 1986. Since that time she has been in private practice as a small animal practitioner specializing in canine reproduction. Dr. Smith is one of the only board certified theriogenologists in private practice. Her expertise in genetic counseling, chilled and frozen semen and reproductive infertility of the male and female canine are known throughout the United States. Dr. Smith frequently speaks to breed groups, veterinary associations and the general public.
Dr. Smith breeds Labrador Retrievers under the registered kennel name Danikk. She serves on the board of directors of the Labrador Retriever Club, Inc, where she is the health committee chair. She is the President of the Orthopedic Foundation for Animal - the foremost animal health data base in the world. She competes in hunt tests, conformation dog shows, obedience trials and occasionally field trials. She is an approved hunt test judge. She is a nationally recognized lecturer and author. She has served Minnesota as a member and President of the Board o Veterinary Medicine.
Breeders Showcase: To honor and recognize the many breeders who have supported our show over the past 50 years, on Friday evening, August 19th, Greeley Kennel Club will host our first Breeders Showcase. This event will spotlight breeding programs by focusing on the quality of dogs produced.
Dogs entered must be of the same breed and presented in groups of 3, with at least two of the three dogs entered from different litters. The breeder entering the trio must be the breeder of record on all 3 dogs and must be the first handler of the trio. Entry fees will be $10 per trio and can be pre-entered or entered the day of the competition.
Competition will be at the group level and all 7 groups are eligible. Monetary awards and rosettes will be awarded with first group placement and $150, Best in Showcase will be $500 and Reserve Best in Showcase at $250. Auctions & Dinner @ Bunkhouse (building on show grounds) @ 6:30 PM (Caterer - Dickey's BBQ).

20 Raffle tickets will be mailed to all OHCA members. If you'd like more tickets, please contact Sue. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at the Specialty. Please return via mail no later than August 12.
For overnight RV parking, OHCA has requested 10RV spots on the oval next to grass. Early parking requests through OHCA must be for Wednesday-Sunday to be included on the oval with grass. Complete RV parking will be published in the Premium List.
For those that reserved RV parking early through the OHCA: assignments will be posted at 14th Avenue and D Street at the Security Parking tent. You will be then escorted to your site.
General day-parking at the show site will be at no cost.
